It's like, the things grabbing your attention aren't even real until you decide they are. You're curating your own experience whether you want to or not. So why not decide what's worth focusing on?

So, the thing about attention is, it's kinda the currency of reality, right? I've definitely realized that nothing out there is real until you give it your focus. That sounds weird, but let me explain what I mean. We live in this world where everything's vying for our attention.
But here's the kicker, most of it doesn't need to be real for you. Your reality, it's like this highly customizable operating system. You decide what's on the home screen. And the interesting thing about that is the power it gives you to just, you know, not engage with everything the world throws at you.
I think when I was younger, I really bought into the idea that I had to be tuned into all these different channels and streams of information. I mean, I'd let myself get curated by the algorithm into someone I didn't even recognize. I thought I needed those plugins and attachments from the outside world, but they were just clutter. It wasn't until I started treating my mind, my consciousness, as a piece of tech, you know, upgradable, that things started shifting.
You're running this life software, and your beliefs are like your operating system. They set the boundaries of your experience.
Designing your reality is basically debugging your own operating system. You find the broken beliefs, you patch them, and then everything downstream starts working differently.
And really, it's all about questioning the default configuration you're given and opting out. A lot of people don't realize their beliefs are these invisible structures filtering their experience. The game of reality is rigged if you play by someone else's rules. But if you start to see your beliefs as slides projecting onto the screen of your life, you can change the whole vibe by swapping those slides out.
When I was coding, I realized how similar it is to spirituality. It's not about the woo or the gurus, it's about practical redesign. I learned to see reality like a game, with hidden variables and psychic tests. You upgrade your character traits and advance to the next level.
It's like, life keeps sending you these psychic notifications about what you need to work on, but you have to learn to read them.
What's fascinating is that your attention acts as this input layer, like, what you focus on quite literally becomes your reality. If you keep letting in junk data, well, your life is gonna look like a messy codebase. But when you consciously decide on what gets through, it's like evolving your system to a higher version. I meant to say, when you update those parameters, your screen projects a completely new landscape.
It's fascinating.
So much of it comes down to a self-audit, debugging your reality. If something's not working, it's probably because of some outdated belief running like a faulty piece of software. Or actually, it might not even be your belief originally. Society's got a way of installing these fear-based plugins.
And sometimes, you’ve got to question if what's occupying your mental real estate is a choice or just part of the default package you never opted out of.
Let me tell you about a time I was homeless. It wasn't glamorous, but it taught me how to strip down life to its essentials, to choose what I let define my reality. I was constantly updating my internal settings, seeing what worked, what didn’t. One of the big revelations was realizing that life automatically updates itself based on how you respond to these psychic tests.
You pass a test, your world evolves. Simple as that. But fail, and it's like hitting a roadblock in a complex algorithm.
And then there's the part no one talks about, the invisible filters running your life. These are the parameters set by experiences and expectations you never agreed to, you know? You walk through life thinking it's one thing, but all these hidden variables change the game. The key is to bring them to light, decide which ones serve you, and which to override.
And the interesting part there is, once you start doing that, your awareness expands, and the game doesn't seem so rigged.
And it's not just about you. The reality you're designing intersects with others. So, while you're upgrading your firmware, don't forget that everyone's playing their own version of this reality game. The intersections can create these beautiful patterns or tangled messes, depending on how much you let others projection onto your screen.
It's all part of the experiment, adjusting parameters, and sharing the code that works.
Your life isn't a static configuration. It continually updates based on your actions and mindset. The psychic tests, those hidden variables, they're not just obstacles. They're checkpoints ensuring you're ready for what's next.
Each challenge is a chance to reconfigure your settings and alter the trajectory of your reality. It's all about playing this game with intention.
When you start to see life this way, it’s freeing. You realize you're not bound by the default configurations handed to you. You have the agency to rewrite your code. And the reality you design is so much richer, deeper, and it reflects who you truly are.
And isn't that what we're all aiming for? To be the author of our own stories, to create something that's genuinely us?
So where does this leave us? I think there's limitless potential here. Maybe it all comes back to realizing that your reality is yours to craft, and no narrative from society needs to write it for you. And that's kind of where I'm at now, wondering what new layers I'll add next, what psychic tests I'll face and pass, and how I'll continue reworking the design of my reality.
So, you know, nothing out there requires your attention, unless you decide it does.
