your reality is a system and you’re the admin

I'm telling you, once you get that your reality is more like an operating system than anything else, the way you engage with life changes completely. You become the admin, tweaking all these parameters. That's the secret most never touch.

Zac is a content creator at Reality Designers and a music engineer. He often hosts interactive live meditation sessions with sound healing and continues to experiment with new sounds and methods for awakening.

your reality is a system and you’re the admin
So the thing about designing reality, it’s like hacking into a system. You’re not trying to break it; you’re just learning how it works so you can configure it to your specs. I think people miss that. They think reality is just this fixed, monolithic thing they can't touch.
But really, it's more like an open-source project. Everything you believe, perceive, focus on, those are just code snippets you can rewrite. And that's interesting because once you see it like that, you can start debugging.
Here's what most people miss: reality is not just out there; it's happening on your screen, your awareness. Like a projection. Your beliefs are the slides casting shadows, creating forms. I mean, think about it, why else would two people stand in the same spot and see totally different worlds?
And the cool part is, you can change the slides. Erase the old ones, insert some new slides with ideas you want projecting. It's like you're running the show. You're the admin, accessing the control panel of your reality, tweaking all the parameters.

When I was younger, I didn’t get this. I thought life was all about reacting to what's thrown at you. Homelessness taught me different. Out on the streets, your labels and assumptions about life get stripped down to the essentials.
I realized I could decide what any experience meant, like deciding your character's actions in a game. "
And here’s the thing, psychic tests aren’t always about hardship. Sometimes they show up as comfort. It's a test in disguise to see if you're gonna get complacent. Take the easy route or debug the discomfort?
The algorithm, it wants you to install plugins of status quo, like "normal life," but that's the curated reality they sell you. You want the open, hackable version.
When you start to design your reality, the first thing you notice is how many pre-installed apps you've just accepted without thinking. You've got fear plugins, doubt extensions, stuff that probably came from default settings society hands you. You can uninstall them. I've done it.
Maybe not all at once, but piece by piece, you get there.

I think a lot about the game of reality. You know those hidden variables, the ones you don’t see until you fail that mission for the nth time? That's life. It’s not spiritual hokum, it's straight-up practical.
You miss a variable, you redo the level. Pass the test, new stage awaits. Easier said than done, but you find ways. Debugging your life’s software, checking for broken beliefs, patching them.
And that's where practical spirituality comes in. Not woo-woo stuff, but actionable things. Practically, if you stop doom-scrolling, you instantly gain time for better patches. Your attention is the ultimate input layer, and it’s crafting your operating system with every choice.
Look at what you're clicking on, what stories you're letting in, because wherever your attention goes, that's what becomes real to you.

Designing your reality is basically debugging your own operating system. You find the broken beliefs, you patch them, and then everything downstream starts working differently.

It’s kind of like what they say about search engines: garbage in, garbage out. The same for your brain, your life. You’re training your operating system with whatever you feed it. So, maybe stop feeding it junk and start auditing your inputs.
A self-audit is just essential maintenance. Look through your mental apps, find what's obsolete, or what's sending you off-course, and clean that up.
And the interesting thing about this is, when you start doing it, you become hyperaware of the input layer of your reality. You see why old habits like updating your stories or rewriting your narratives matter so much. But here's where it gets weird, these aren't just theoretical constructs. They're real.
They're total game changers if you let them be. It’s the stuff no guidebook ever spells out because figuring it out is part of the game.

And remember, you don't need to join a monastery or buy self-help books to do it. If you're already in the game, you have the tools. You can decide what fills your awareness screen. It's about refinement, design, what do you let in?
What do you focus on? Question everything, adjust everything. See where each shift takes you.
But, I don't know man, maybe it's just me. Or maybe we've all got this internal config menu and we're just waking up to it. I figure I'm gonna keep tweaking things on my end. There's always more to explore in the system.
And you, well, maybe you're just starting to wonder about that next parameters change. Isn’t that the point? Keep moving. Your life is one intricate system you can engineer.
