so why do you keep obeying invisible rules?

There's this intriguing point, where you look back and realize that so much of what you've been doing is guided by rules you never agreed to. Where did they come from? That's what we need to dig into, it's almost like there's an invisible hand crafting your daily decisions.

so why do you keep obeying invisible rules?

Invisible rules shape your life in ways you.

Now, I'm not talking about the usual suspects of societal norms and parental expectations, though they do play their parts. I'm talking subtler, like an elusive force that's got a grip on your day-to-day. It's as if there's an architect crafting the structure of your decision-making process. But who designed this architecture?
Or better yet, how did we come to accept it as our own?
I remember way back, when I was still figuring out what it means to live on my terms, there was this moment of clarity. I'd dropped out of college and had a few businesses under my belt, moments when I was homeless but not hopeless. During these times, I realized the comfort offered by conventional paths often conceals the invisible rules deeply embedded in our perception. It was as if my awareness was the canvas, and these rules were the unavoidable brush strokes leading the painting.
When it comes to reality design, the first step is seeing these rules for what they are: constructs, not constants. Imagine them like invisible walls in a video game, the kind that keep you from exploring off the map. You didn't install them, yet there they are, directing where you can and cannot go. But what if you could reprogram the game itself, erase those boundaries and set your own parameters?

It's funny how authority works within our psyche, not the overt kind, the subtle, silent agreement that we've made with invisible forces. You know what I'm talking about, right? It's that default setting we're all running on. So, if you're like me, someone who's completely curious about what lies beyond, you have to start asking, who's coded these rules?
Let's consider Bill, a composite of folks I've known. Bill, a creative who's always wanted to paint but works in finance because someone way back said, "That's a real job." Bill's life is punctuated by "what ifs", an alternate reality where his creativity isn't stifled by the daily grind. But he follows the road paved by unseen forces, prioritizing stability over passion. It makes me think, how many of us are Bill?
Now, how do we unearth these latent puppeteers? This is where the concept of a self-audit comes into play. Think of it as architectural demolition, you dive deep, identify the beams holding up these unwanted structures, and decide which ones to tear down. " Trace it back.
Was it your choice, or was it placed there by someone else?

Conducting a self-audit means challenging the blueprints laid out by invisible forces. You decide which walls to knock down.

For me, the process began with reevaluating my routine. I started small, questioning my daily habits, my responses to common situations, the things I just accepted without a second thought. And once you pull at that thread, you start to see the broader tapestry. It’s not a teardown; it's more of a remodel.
Designing reality builds upon questioning the design handed to you.
Here's a practical technique: write down one behavior influenced by external expectations. Dig beneath layers by asking "why" repeatedly, be the kid in the backseat asking incessantly on a road trip. Each answer should prompt another "why" until you uncover a root belief that doesn't serve you. Then, decide if that belief deserves any more airtime in your life.

It's kind of funny, how we wrestle with these concepts, authority, structure, freedom. The hidden elements that pop up at the most inconvenient times, making you question everything in the process. But the incredible thing about this whole architectural metaphor we're going with, is that you can choose to redesign it anytime you want. It’s like what I've always said, life's constantly adjusting to the invisible parts of you that are evolving.
Each adjustment is a reconstruction.

Invisible authority is the silent architect of your routine. Redesigning your life involves seeing these unseen blueprints and rewriting them.

What we often miss is this nuanced layer of how external influences sneak into our beliefs without us even realizing it. You know the kind of stuff that dribbles into your subconscious, pasting its projections over the walls of your perception. A boss's critique might shapeshift into your new limiting belief about what you're capable of. Or an ex's departure becomes your new definition of love.
And the game gets more convoluted when you’re not aware of these changes happening. So, consciously auditing these perceived boundaries can become part of your toolkit for designing a more authentic experience.
Now, thinking out loud, what's intriguing is how each decision influenced by unseen authorities doesn't just alter your course but ripples through the narrative you tell yourself. If you've ever kept a journal, maybe you spot a pattern, a recurring narrative, a feedback loop fed by the quiet voices of past authority. Rewriting these scripts isn't simple, but like any elaborate sculpture, it starts with chipping away at the excess.
Then there's the part people tend to overlook, boldness. It’s bold to dismantle what you were once told is your foundation. It's not recklessness, it's courage. The decisions that come after this kind of deconstruction are solid because, by then, it’s you deciding.
No invisible hand guiding your pen. Your choices, your rules. "

When you start tearing down inherited expectations, you put your hands on the tools to build something truly yours.

Remember, each time you do this, each time you challenge those embedded blueprints, you're sculpting something remarkable. It doesn't have to be a grand, sweeping change; sometimes, chipping away even a small block reveals a beautiful form underneath. It's about being the craftsman of your life's architecture, not the inhabitant of someone else's design.
And I guess that leads me to wonder if this whole process, the invisible rules, the psychological operations you perform on yourself just to see clearer, isn’t just a never-ending loop of self-correction after all. It's like catching a glimpse through a window you hadn’t noticed before, painting your own picture frame, and suddenly, there’s a different landscape in view.

You know, in doing this, my curiosity keeps gnawing at the edges. Like there's always another dimension, the unseen authority you didn’t catch this time. What invisible rules are yet there to rewrite? Or is it more about constantly evolving, expanding the canvas we draw our paths on?
I'm not sure, but it's worth exploring, isn't it?
