everything you're seeing is just a projection

I've been thinking about how much of our reality is just us projecting our beliefs onto the world. It's like we're carrying around these slides in our heads, slipping them into the projector of our awareness, and bam, there's the show called "your life."

Raymond is a multi-disciplinary designer and developer. You'll find him most commonly skateboarding, having a coffee, programming, algorithmic day trading, creating 3D art or working to bring the Reality Designers vision to life.

everything you're seeing is just a projection
I've definitely realized that we're all running these little projection shows of our own making, and it’s kind of wild to think about. You know how when you’re coding, you're just manipulating these lines of text that create a whole application or game? It’s exactly the same with your reality. Your beliefs and thoughts are these lines of code.
They feed into your awareness like slides into a projector, and that’s what you see on your reality screen. If you tweak a belief, just one little line, the whole thing can display differently. And the funny part is, we often don't even know we picked that slide in the first place.
The interesting thing is, it’s way easier to change these projections than people think. " And it did, but not in the way I expected. My old belief slid into place, showing me that the "real world" is harsh. But after a while, I realized I could swap that slide out for one where life is full of interesting opportunities, even in tough situations.
Suddenly, being homeless was more of a choose-your-own-adventure game than a tragedy.

I mean, it does sound a bit out there, but here's where it gets practical. Have you ever done a self-audit, like debugging your own beliefs? You look at what isn't working in your life, and most of the time, it's just because one of those slides is projecting onto your awareness, casting shadows where there could be light. It’s just about seeing what slide is playing and asking yourself if it still serves you.
Most of the time, it doesn’t.
Now, think of life as a game. If each belief is a hidden variable impacting your reality, then the psychic tests you encounter are like quests. They're there to help you see what needs to change. Say you're constantly bumping into the same obstacle, there’s your game hint.
Something in your belief OS needs an upgrade. And the more tests you pass, the more your character levels up, which means more freedom in the game world.
The algorithm of your life is another thing shaping you. Let’s say you keep watching the same type of content online. The algorithm feeds you more of it, right? Next thing you know, it's curated you into someone you didn’t set out to be.
It's the same with reality. The beliefs you hold act like an algorithm, selecting what shows up on your earth-screen. So you’ve got to question everything. Especially the big stuff.
The defaults you never chose. They’re just plugins. You can uninstall at any time.
I learned this big time when I started a few businesses. I realized most of my initial beliefs around what it took to succeed were straight-up broken. They were more like bugs in my system. I thought excessive hustle was the slide to use.
Turns out, ease and flow achieved a lot more. So I did what a coder does with buggy code, rewrote it. I reprogrammed my beliefs to prioritize connection over competition. And man, when you update your firmware, the whole operating system runs smoother.

Look, here's the thing most people miss: reality is continuously updating itself based on what you’re currently doing. It's dynamic. You're passing these psychic tests all the time, but you have to notice the notifications life sends you. Little things that prick your awareness, say something’s up.
" Or just signals that maybe your input layer needs some reconfiguration.
People get stuck in loops, continually projecting old slides and ignoring the signals. You know, like how operating systems sometimes glitch when they need an update? Life's kind of the same. It nudges you to reconfigure, but if you ignore it too long, things can get messy.
That’s where self-auditing comes in, identifying the glitch and hitting refresh.

Designing your reality is basically debugging your own operating system. You find the broken beliefs, you patch them, and then everything downstream starts working differently.

The most freeing realization I had was that nothing out there requires my attention. I mean, really, none of this external stuff demands your focus unless you choose to give it. Everything’s a potential plugin you can decide to install or not. And if you’re selective with what you allow to write on your awareness-screen, you’re not driven by default settings, but by choice.
Another thing? Well, it depends, but I think most people don't realize how powerful paying attention can be. Like, whatever you focus on literally becomes your reality. It flavors the whole thing.
Your attention is the input, and where you direct it pretty much decides what kind of show you're watching. Shift focus, and a new scene begins. That's where practical spirituality kicks in. Not guru stuff, just choosing your input wisely.
That's kind of it, you know? Life's simpler than we make it. It's about figuring out which slides are worth projecting and which aren't. There’s always something to wonder about next, though.
Like, what if the very act of changing a slide alters more than your perception? What if it shifts reality itself? Maybe we're all editing the universe as we go, one belief at a time. It sounds like sci-fi, but then again, maybe it's just a practical way to design reality.
